Wie im vergangenen Jahr fanden auch in diesem Jahr die Beatport Musik Awards statt. Hierbei wurden die Verkaufszahlen der jeweiligen und verschiedenen Musikgenres von März 2009 bis März 2010 ermittelt. KĂĽnstler wie Deadmau5 oder Axwell konnten ihre ersten Plätze vom vergangenen Jahr auch bei den Beatport Music Awards 2010 verteidigen. Aus insgesamt 18 Genres wurden jeweils der Beste KĂĽnstler und der erfolgreichste Track ermittelt. Der Mannheimer Local Hero, DJ und Produzent Nick Curly landete auf einem sehr guten zweiten Platz in der Kategorie “Best Deep House Artist”.
